Michalis Konstantinidis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emílio Lendaa's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. Di Xing Ying made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Theofanis Mavreas in the 14th minute of play. In the 17th minute of the match SILMONT got a corner. The Undertaker's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gwendal Aufrère ran over to the corner to take the kick. 19 minutes into the match, SILMONT's goal looked a bit too open when Anastasios Papagiannis came free, but Di Xing Ying reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, The Undertaker's Michalis Konstantinidis got control of the ball when Bethel Raba tried to sneak it across the goal line. 28 minutes into the game, SILMONT's Bethel Raba nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot.
