The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Severino Franco helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Maverick Futebol Clube booed when ÓKINJÔ FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severino Franco didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 6 minutes, Silvestre Garcia took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Michel Montenegro to make any attempt to save it. The supporters of Maverick Futebol Clube booed when ÓKINJÔ FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eduardo Barbosa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Silvestre Garcia in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Michel Montenegro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Michel Montenegro was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Anier Quintyn showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 19 minute of play. Anier Quintyns short, quick shot in the 24thth minute got Michel Montenegro to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Raimundo Abraão struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Teófilo Barbosa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Maverick Futebol Clube. In the 27th minute, Silvestre Garcia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Michel Montenegro was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Anier Quintyn did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 4-0 to the left of a surprised Michel Montenegro 31 minutes into the match. Anier Quintyn in the 37thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Michel Montenegro, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Michel Montenegro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvestre Garcia in the 38th minute of play. Maverick Futebol Clube's defense didn't have a chance, in the 41st minute, when Anier Quintyn scored to the left of an out of position Michel Montenegro, making the score, 5-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Raimundo Abraão to strike the kick off in the second half. The ÓKINJÔ FC fans' excitement grew in the 51st match minute when ÓKINJÔ FC's Silvestre Garcia looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Michel Montenegro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Silvestre Garcia went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. Silvestre Garcia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Michel Montenegro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. In the 64th minute, Anier Quintyn left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ÓKINJÔ FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. Michel Montenegro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anier Quintyn, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. 75 minutes had been played when some careless play by Maverick Futebol Clube's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tarmo Koskenkorva was slow to take the kick. During this time ÓKINJÔ FC's players had a chance to rest. Michel Montenegro came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by ÓKINJÔ FC's Silvestre Garcia. But to his dismay, Silvestre Garcia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 10-0. In the 85th minute, ÓKINJÔ FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Raimundo Abraão fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The supporters of Maverick Futebol Clube booed when ÓKINJÔ FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severino Franco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Michel Montenegro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvestre Garcia in the 90th minute of the match. Michel Montenegro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvestre Garcia, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Maverick Futebol Clube's Michel Montenegro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anier Quintyn in the 95th minute of play. In the 96th minute, João Tinoco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Michel Montenegro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvestre Garcia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
