In the 39th minute, Claudiu Popescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Karl-Michael Carlsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matei Comișel in the 43rd minute of play. If Carl Soned had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Claudiu Popescu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Hogans Heroes's goalkeeper Karl-Michael Carlsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Claudiu Popescu. Olimpiu Oncescu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alexander Cane went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Carl Soned received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Olimpiu Oncescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erik Hellsing blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Olimpiu Oncescu having to make a save. 81 minutes into the game, Remus Tilincă was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Stoicii's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hogans Heroes the free kick. In the 81st minute, Remus Tilincă hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 82 minutes, Reha Vahip managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Hogans Heroes supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Stoicii's performance. The match ended with a win for Stoicii.
