Sebastian Ciolofan was slow to take the kick. During this time Alexandria Team08's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of JORGE NEWBERY FUTBOL CLUB's goalie and right to Valentin Susara. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. JORGE NEWBERY FUTBOL CLUB's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. 9 minutes into the match, JORGE NEWBERY FUTBOL CLUB's goalkeeper Qiu Le Qi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mădălin Răduț. Qiu Le Qi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Amânaloae in the 10th minute of play. In the 11th minute, Manuel Amânaloae hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Felix Dobrea managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alexandria Team08's supporters rose to their feet, but Felix Dobrea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Qiu Le Qi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A hard shot 18 in the game by Mădălin Răduț from a close distance when the talented Qiu Le Qi managed to make a qualified save. JORGE NEWBERY FUTBOL CLUB's players were relieved. Laurențiu Popescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amancio Eusko in the 20th minute of play. When Alexandria Team08's Mădălin Răduț in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Laurențiu Popescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iker Orain in the 32nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iker Orain in the 32nd minute of play forced Alexandria Team08's goalkeeper Laurențiu Popescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 34 minutes into the match, JORGE NEWBERY FUTBOL CLUB's goalkeeper Qiu Le Qi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mădălin Răduț. Eduard Luncanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Mădălin Răduț made the kick off in the second half. Mădălin Răduț struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Sebastian Ciolofan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 64th minute Alexandria Team08 were awarded a corner. Sebastian Ciolofan went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Eduard Luncanu managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. The supporters of Alexandria Team08 booed when JORGE NEWBERY FUTBOL CLUB was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Venancio Hodei didn't get a good kick on the ball. Qiu Le Qi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mădălin Răduț in the 66th minute of play. Laurențiu Popescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amancio Eusko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 70th minute Mădălin Răduț shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Qiu Le Qi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 72 played minutes JORGE NEWBERY FUTBOL CLUB got a freekick which was hit by Venancio Hodei. The audience was convinced that Valentin Susara's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Qiu Le Qi was relentless in the 76th minute of the game.
