Claudinei Oliveira made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Guillermo Barros Schelloto sent off a good shot on target. After 16 minutes, Ciro Farias mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lengua de Lobo and the Socanelas FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 17 played minutes Lengua de Lobo got a freekick which was hit by Ciro Farias. 19 minutes into the match, Lengua de Lobo's goal looked a bit too open when Raphael Vargas came free, but Agustin Rossi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 21 played minutes Lengua de Lobo got a freekick which was hit by Ciro Farias. In the 22nd minute of the match Rafinha Valladares sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Agustin Rossi skillfully saved the ball. Claudinei Oliveira made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Guillermo Barros Schelloto sent off a good shot on target. When Ciro Farias was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 24 minutes had been played. A collision led to Lengua de Lobo getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Ciro Farias hit a great ball. In the 27th minute Martin-Daniel Palermo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudinei Oliveira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 33 minutes into the match, Socanelas FC's goalkeeper Claudinei Oliveira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Guillermo Barros Schelloto. Claudinei Oliveira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin-Daniel Palermo in the 35th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Martin-Daniel Palermo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lengua de Lobo's supporters rose to their feet, but Martin-Daniel Palermo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Claudinei Oliveira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Diego Baptista kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Ezequiel Illan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Claudinei Oliveira was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Martin-Daniel Palermo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-0 in the 41 minute of play. Lengua de Lobo's Martin-Daniel Palermo got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 48th minute, Guillermo Barros Schelloto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Doni Paiva to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Lengua de Lobo's Martin-Daniel Palermo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Claudinei Oliveira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Martin-Daniel Palermo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Socanelas FC's Rafinha Valladares got a free kick in the 57th minute. Guillermo Barros Schelloto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudinei Oliveira having to interfere. In the 60th minute, Martin-Daniel Palermo made a precise shot to the right of Claudinei Oliveira. Socanelas FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. In the 68th match minute, Socanelas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dênis Velloso to maneuver through the defense. 8-0 became the score in the 72nd minute when Martin-Daniel Palermo elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 74 minutes into the game, Lengua de Lobo's Ezequiel Illan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Claudinei Oliveira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angel Correa in the 79th minute of play forced Socanelas FC's goalkeeper Claudinei Oliveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 81 minutes into the match, Guillermo Barros Schelloto notched a goal, 10-0, to the right of Socanelas FC's Claudinei Oliveira. Claudinei Oliveira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tião Salgado's late challenge caught a Lengua de Lobo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tião Salgado helped the player get up and apologised. After 89 played minutes Socanelas FC got a freekick which was hit by Tião Salgado. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angel Correa in the 90th minute of play forced Socanelas FC's goalkeeper Claudinei Oliveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Martin-Daniel Palermo took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Claudinei Oliveira. Claudinei Oliveira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 12-0.
