Nestor Vansteenbrugge was out of position in the 8 minute of play, and Doruk Ula capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Doruk Ula really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. 11 minutes into the game, one of POZANTI SPOR:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Tayfur Muhlis had in the 12thth minute some difficulties stopping Jacque De Brouwer's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Yoeri Van Der Straeten's late challenge caught a POZANTI SPOR's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Yoeri Van Der Straeten helped the player get up and apologised. In the 15th match minute, Sporting Westmeerbeek was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yoeri Van Der Straeten to maneuver through the defense. Nestor Vansteenbrugge tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Utku Yanar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Nestor Vansteenbrugge made a huge save. Jacque De Brouwer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tayfur Muhlis having to interfere. Tayfur Muhlis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alex Sarangapani, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Sporting Westmeerbeek's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that İbrahim Uğurlu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. 45 minutes into the match, Sporting Westmeerbeek's Alex Sarangapani sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tayfur Muhlis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in POZANTI SPOR's zone, Jacque De Brouwer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tayfur Muhlis came out of the goal and Jacque De Brouwer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jacque De Brouwer made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Göksel Erserim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 53rd match minute, POZANTI SPOR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Merih Demiralp to maneuver through the defense. Sporting Westmeerbeek's attentive Nestor Naegels managed to snatch the ball when Paşa Ali Tecen made a throw-in in the 59th minute of the game. Jacque De Brouwer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Tayfur Muhlis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nestor Vansteenbrugge dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. 79 minutes into the match, Utku Yanar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nestor Vansteenbrugge. Nestor Vansteenbrugge made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Doruk Ula in the 82nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers İbrahim Uğurlu in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nestor Vansteenbrugge saved Sporting Westmeerbeek from getting behind. In the 88th minute, İbrahim Uğurlu made a precise shot to the right of Nestor Vansteenbrugge. Sporting Westmeerbeek's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. Norbert Verhulst hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. After 93 played minutes Sporting Westmeerbeek got a freekick which was hit by Benjamin Thielemans. Tayfur Muhlis was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Alex Sarangapani showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 7-1 in the 96 minute of play. POZANTI SPOR's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
