Randall Rodríguez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Timos Vrachnos in the 15th minute. After 16 minutes, Raymundo Matienzo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PEÑAROL ORO Y CARBON and the Πυργετός Fc players grew even worse after the yellow card. PEÑAROL ORO Y CARBON's Randall Rodríguez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Argyris Karanastasis in the 30th minute of play. Randall Rodríguez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christos Lallos in the 31st minute of play. Randall Rodríguez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Timos Vrachnos, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. The supporters of PEÑAROL ORO Y CARBON booed when Πυργετός Fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miltos Kousourakis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nelson Gutiérrez hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. In the 42nd minute, Christos Lallos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Anthimos Kousouridis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Randall Rodríguez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The wind increased when Timos Vrachnos made the kick off in the second half. After 56 minutes, Paolo Montero mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PEÑAROL ORO Y CARBON and the Πυργετός Fc players grew even worse after the yellow card. 70 minutes into the match, PEÑAROL ORO Y CARBON's goal looked a bit too open when Anthimos Kousouridis came free, but Randall Rodríguez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 72nd minute Christos Lallos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Randall Rodríguez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Timos Vrachnos in the 78th minute of play forced PEÑAROL ORO Y CARBON's goalkeeper Randall Rodríguez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. PEÑAROL ORO Y CARBON's Randall Rodríguez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anthimos Kousouridis in the 80th minute of play. José Perdomo kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. In the 81st minute of the match Miltos Kousourakis shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Randall Rodríguez showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 90th minute, one of Πυργετός Fc:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Πυργετός Fc. In the 92nd minute there was a penalty for PEÑAROL ORO Y CARBON. Hector Cerro stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Marinos Kabouris. 1-1. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
