Zdzislaw Obuchowicz took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bao Huguet. Bao Huguet dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. In the 18th minute, Facundo Nazario ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bao Huguet was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. Bao Huguet stood somewhat misplaced when Facundo Nazario came free in front of goal and shot 7-0 to the left of him in the 21 minute. Facundo Nazario sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Facundo Nazario could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Bao Huguet made a huge save. 27 minutes into the match, Facundo Nazario had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bao Huguet. Velez-Malaga's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Facundo Nazario was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. If Facundo Nazario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Velez-Malaga's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Facundo Nazario 34 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 9-0. Facundo Nazario in the 37thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Bao Huguet, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. A hard shot 37 in the game by Facundo Nazario from a close distance when the talented Bao Huguet managed to make a qualified save. Velez-Malaga's players were relieved. In the 38th minute, Lokomotiv Plovdiv's Facundo Nazario ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bao Huguet. Bao Huguet yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 10-0. A hard shot 41 in the game by Facundo Nazario from a close distance when the talented Bao Huguet managed to make a qualified save. Velez-Malaga's players were relieved. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 10-0 at half-time.

Velez-Malaga's Bao Huguet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Facundo Nazario in the 51st minute of play. Facundo Nazario received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Bao Huguet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Lokomotiv Plovdiv's Facundo Nazario in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 62nd match minute, Velez-Malaga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xulian Coya to maneuver through the defense. Hélder Lago took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 63rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Bao Huguet. Velez-Malaga's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Facundo Nazario in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bao Huguet saved Velez-Malaga from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven Brask in the 72nd minute of play forced Velez-Malaga's goalkeeper Bao Huguet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 74 minutes into the game, Facundo Nazario cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 11-0. Bao Huguet was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 76 played minutes Velez-Malaga got a freekick which was hit by Vidal Camaño. After a defensive mix-up in Velez-Malaga's zone, Facundo Nazario stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bao Huguet came out of the goal and Facundo Nazario tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bao Huguet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven Brask in the 91st minute of the match. Joselito Bartumeu made in the 92nd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Maureo Carreira. If Facundo Nazario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joselito Bartumeu hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Facundo Nazario in the 96th minute of play forced Velez-Malaga's goalkeeper Bao Huguet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There was no doubt that Lokomotiv Plovdiv were the better team. Lokomotiv Plovdiv's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
