Dallen Fc's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Gustaf Ingvall could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Håkan Hök made a huge save. After 40 minutes, Henrik Häger mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Elefanterna and the Dallen Fc players grew even worse after the yellow card. Håkan Hök acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 41st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Brian Bolin. Åke Bergström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Johnny Ekeroth in the 44th minute of the match. After the first half Elefanterna were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tobias Runeberg to make the kick off. Elefanterna were furious when Kristoffer Kellman was red carded, 51 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 50 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Elefanterna! The referee gave Dallen Fc a penalty, 52 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Göran Andersson, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Elefanterna's Håkan Hök. 1-1. Dallen Fc's defense didn't have a chance, in the 56th minute, when Johnny Ekeroth scored to the left of an out of position Åke Bergström, making the score, 1-2. The crowd rose to their feet as Elefanterna's Sivert Sill slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Åke Bergström. That made the score 1-3 after 61 minutes of play. Håkan Hök made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustaf Ingvall in the 66th minute of play. Jon Apelqvist kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Dennis Törnkvist's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Håkan Hök read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. Åke Bergström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sivert Sill, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. 85 minutes into the match, Dallen Fc's goalkeeper Åke Bergström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sivert Sill. Kristoffer Kondor kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tobias Runeberg in the 95th minute of play forced Elefanterna's goalkeeper Håkan Hök to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
