Cezmi İltekin made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Jacky Jamieson sent off a good shot on target. Marco Jamieson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yahya Arslan in the 7th minute of the match. Marco Jamieson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gürkan Türemen, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Gürkan Türemen might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marco Jamieson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gürkan Türemen ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Soulfly F.C. getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Ahmet Hakan Balcı hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Soulfly F.C.'s Yahya Arslan got a free kick in the 14th minute. In the 15th minute, Dündar Taylan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cezmi İltekin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Remco de Nooter in the 17th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Soulfly F.C.'s Kutlay Saffet got a free kick in the 19th minute. Marco Jamieson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gürkan Türemen, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. After 24 played minutes SK Gullegem got a freekick which was hit by Johnny Oyen. With his leg Cezmi İltekin managed to avoid a goal in the 28thth minute, when SK Gullegem's Jacky Jamieson fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Cezmi İltekin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remco de Nooter in the 30th minute of play. Ahmet Hakan Balcı kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. After 34 played minutes Soulfly F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Ahmet Hakan Balcı. Soulfly F.C.'s Cezmi İltekin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Soulfly F.C. from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Remco de Nooter in the 38th minute of play forced Soulfly F.C.'s goalkeeper Cezmi İltekin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 41 minutes into the game, Kutlay Saffet was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Soulfly F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SK Gullegem the free kick. In the 41st match minute, Soulfly F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kutlay Saffet to maneuver through the defense. Yahya Arslan hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Remco de Nooter made the kick off in the second half. In the 59th minute, Kutlay Saffet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cezmi İltekin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anton Volders in the 61st minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anton Volders during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 66 minutes into the match, Soulfly F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Jacky Jamieson came free, but Cezmi İltekin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 68th minute Jacky Jamieson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cezmi İltekin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elias Torfs in the 70th minute of play forced Soulfly F.C.'s goalkeeper Cezmi İltekin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 70 played minutes SK Gullegem got a freekick which was hit by Gerrit Quintens. Soulfly F.C.'s Cezmi İltekin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacky Jamieson in the 76th minute of play. Cezmi İltekin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacky Jamieson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 84 minutes into the match, Soulfly F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Remco de Nooter came free, but Cezmi İltekin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elias Torfs hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. In the 94th minute Hazar Ilımlı shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Jamieson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 96 minutes into the match, SK Gullegem's goal looked a bit too open when Hazar Ilımlı came free, but Marco Jamieson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
