He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 15 minutes into the game, Alvinegro Carioca's Tadeu Sarmento nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arsenio Aballe made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Arsenio Aballe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Augusto Sampaio in the 20th minute of play. Cássio Aguiar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Serafin Calixto in the 24th minute of the match. With a little luck, Stone City's Arsenio Aballe got control of the ball when Carlos Augusto Sampaio tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 32nd minute, Fernan Galo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 40 minutes into the match, Tadeu Sarmento notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Stone City's Arsenio Aballe. Arsenio Aballe was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 44 played minutes Alvinegro Carioca got a freekick which was hit by Wágner Miranda.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Carlos Augusto Sampaio made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wágner Miranda in the 52nd minute of play forced Stone City's goalkeeper Arsenio Aballe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 55th minute, Nicodim Mihădaș hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arsenio Aballe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tadeu Sarmento in the 60th minute of the match. The supporters of Alvinegro Carioca booed when Stone City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ezequiel Sein didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arsenio Aballe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvinho Brodel in the 65th minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, Stone City's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Augusto Sampaio came free, but Arsenio Aballe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner ended in Ezequiel Sein almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Alvinegro Carioca's Cássio Aguiar did a great save. In the 73rd minute, Carlos Augusto Sampaio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot by Ezequiel Sein from long distance, 74 minutes into the match, got Cássio Aguiar's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Léo Faria's late challenge caught a Stone City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Léo Faria helped the player get up and apologised. In the 76th match minute, Alvinegro Carioca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Léo Faria to maneuver through the defense. If Tadeu Sarmento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 83 minutes into the match, Hermínio Ferraz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arsenio Aballe. Stone City's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hermínio Ferraz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. 86 minutes into the match, Stone City's goal looked a bit too open when Tadeu Sarmento came free, but Arsenio Aballe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 6-0 became the score in the 91st minute when Silvinho Brodel elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Erubiel Claris hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Arsenio Aballe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tadeu Sarmento, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Alvinegro Carioca fully deserved thier win.
