Juan Vieira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isac Goșa, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Sebastian Fenici struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Juan Vieira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for U Craiova. 34 minutes into the game, Horea Frumușanu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Juan Vieira. Horea Frumușanu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Juan Vieira was out of position in the 37 minute of play, and Sebastian Fenici capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Sebastian Fenici really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Edvaldo Amaral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Nae Pavel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 42 minutes into the match, U Craiova's goal looked a bit too open when Beto Trigo came free, but Nae Pavel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dorin Cârstoiu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of U Craiova booed when Relyn Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francisco Nóbrega didn't get a good kick on the ball. Juan Vieira was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Udegbunam Ike. In the 48th minute Róbson Loyola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nae Pavel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Beto Trigo might have been able to make a better finish in the 48th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nae Pavel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Beto Trigo ran back to his position shaking his head. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Isac Goșa made a kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Beto Trigo in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nae Pavel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 58 played minutes Relyn Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Umberto Mangueira. Juan Vieira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iacob Chiuzbaian in the 63rd minute of the match. Juan Vieira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Fenici in the 64th minute of play. Juan Vieira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Fenici, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nae Pavel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Beto Trigo in the 67th minute. Juan Vieira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Horea Frumușanu went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. 73 minutes into the match, Isac Goșa notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Relyn Futebol Clube's Juan Vieira. Juan Vieira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
