JFSP's Kléberson Laguna proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save JFSP from getting a goal against them. In the 19th minute, Horácio Souto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by Oscar Dimas in the 20th minute really tested Kléberson Laguna's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Rodolfo Cordara struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Kléberson Laguna didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sportivo Constitución. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zé Paulo de Souza was the one to do the kick off. The tension between the Sportivo Constitución and the JFSP players grew even worse after the yellow card. JFSP's Zé Paulo de Souza got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 88 minutes, Zé Paulo de Souza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. JFSP's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zé Paulo de Souza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 89 minutes into the game, Zé Paulo de Souza was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. JFSP's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sportivo Constitución the free kick. A collision led to JFSP getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Sportivo Constitución's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
