After 3 played minutes, Sporting Royal's Corneliu Voican shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gaspar Leheren came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sporting Royal reached it. With a little luck, BENA FK's Gaspar Leheren got control of the ball when Marcu Ploieșteanu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gaspar Leheren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marius Roşulescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. With an all-out effort, Sporting Royal's Gaspar Leheren threw himself towards the right post 5 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Marius Roşulescu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 8 minutes, Marcu Ploieșteanu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sporting Royal and the BENA FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Sporting Royal getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Marcu Ploieșteanu hit a great ball. Per-Oskar Ekeroth's late challenge caught a Sporting Royal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Per-Oskar Ekeroth helped the player get up and apologised. Per-Oskar Ekeroth kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Gaspar Leheren had great luck who in the 12thth minute grab hold of the ball when Marius Roşulescu from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. 15 minutes into the match, Alin Dragalina dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gaspar Leheren, 1-0. After 17 minutes of play BENA FK's Joacim Strömbom was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to BENA FK getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Joacim Strömbom hit a great ball. In the 22nd minute, Alin Dragalina made a precise shot to the right of Gaspar Leheren. BENA FK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. In the 25th minute, Alf Lund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Sporting Royal's Nae Moisil got a free kick in the 27th minute. Gaspar Leheren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Corneliu Voican in the 30th minute of the match. Sporting Royal were awarded a corner in the 31th minute after BENA FK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Corneliu Voican took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Marius Roşulescu managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Gaspar Leheren was out of position in the 34 minute of play, and Marius Roşulescu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Marius Roşulescu really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. When Sporting Royal's Marius Roşulescu in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Corneliu Voican struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Gaspar Leheren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sporting Royal. Corneliu Voican's late challenge caught a BENA FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gaspar Leheren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marius Roşulescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marius Roşulescu in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gaspar Leheren saved BENA FK from getting behind. When Jakob Öfverman fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BENA FK's protests and gave Jakob Öfverman a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, BENA FK's Jakob Öfverman got a free kick in the 62nd minute. 63 minutes into the match, BENA FK's goal looked a bit too open when Marius Roşulescu came free, but Gaspar Leheren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. BENA FK's Gaspar Leheren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marius Roşulescu in the 70th minute of play. 72 minutes into the game, Marius Roşulescu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sporting Royal's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave BENA FK the free kick. After 73 played minutes Sporting Royal got a freekick which was hit by Marius Roşulescu. After a defensive mix-up in Sporting Royal's zone, Ludvig Söderquist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lucrețiu Roșeanu came out of the goal and Ludvig Söderquist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Sporting Royal's Marius Roşulescu in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 80th minute of the match Corneliu Voican sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gaspar Leheren skillfully saved the ball. Nae Moisil scored 5-0 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gaspar Leheren, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 88 played minutes BENA FK got a freekick which was hit by Alf Lund. 89 minutes into the match, Sporting Royal's Cosme Cimbron sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gaspar Leheren narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 90th minute of the match Sporting Royal got a corner. BENA FK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Corneliu Voican ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Corneliu Voican got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gaspar Leheren quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Gaspar Leheren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cosme Cimbron in the 91st minute of play. In the 93rd minute Alin Dragalina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaspar Leheren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Cosme Cimbron's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gaspar Leheren was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. There was no doubt that Sporting Royal were the better team. Sporting Royal's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
