The crowd rose to their feet as VIP's Robert Tudor slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Vincent Veenema. That made the score 2-0 after 22 minutes of play. Vincent Veenema stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Robert Tudor's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. Robert Tudor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Robert Tudor came free with the goalkeeper in the 37th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Vincent Veenema could save by the left post. The audience was convinced that Robert Tudor's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vincent Veenema was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in S.C. Potentia's zone, Robert Tudor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vincent Veenema came out of the goal and Robert Tudor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kurt Kort to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55thth minute Gelu Bociort beautifully dribbled past S.C. Potentia's defense and it looked for a moment as a certain goal, but Vincent Veenema pulled off a phantom save to prevent the ball from scoring on his left hand side. After 56 minutes S.C. Potentia's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Nichifor Onișoru who took care of the corner kick. The corner led VIP's Nichifor Onișoru to fire away a dangerous shot which Vincent Veenema despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Vincent Veenema didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Robert Tudor went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. The audience was convinced that Robert Tudor's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vincent Veenema was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. In the 68th minute of the match Radu Mutu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vincent Veenema showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 72 minutes into the match, Robert Tudor notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of S.C. Potentia's Vincent Veenema. Vincent Veenema was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 75 minutes into the game, Ronny Roewen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. S.C. Potentia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave VIP the free kick. In the 75th minute, Ronny Roewen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Robert Tudor scored 5-0 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vincent Veenema, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to S.C. Potentia getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Ferdi Apotheker hit a great ball. Robert Tudor took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vincent Veenema. Vincent Veenema dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. After 87 minutes of play, VIP's Robert Tudor made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vincent Veenema was left in no man's land by his defense there! Vincent Veenema showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nichifor Onișoru in the 93rd minute of the match. VIP's Robert Tudor got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. VIP's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
