One of FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Bisturi F.C.:s goal. The goalkeeper, Marian Bălan, was totally fooled by Bisturi F.C.'s Daniele Piccirilli, who 5 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's Marian Bălan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cosimo Gaeta in the 14th minute of play. Bisturi F.C. were awarded a corner in the 16th minute after FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniele Piccirilli took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Hugon Wierzcholek managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. A collision led to FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Eric Rușanu hit a great ball. Cosimo Gaeta's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marian Bălan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's defense didn't have a chance, in the 30th minute, when Cosimo Gaeta scored to the left of an out of position Marian Bălan, making the score, 4-0. Cosimo Gaeta hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cosimo Gaeta in the 46th minute of play forced FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's goalkeeper Marian Bălan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th match minute, Bisturi F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Federico Azzolina to maneuver through the defense. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cosimo Gaeta stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Cosimo Gaeta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marian Bălan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dorin Chirtoacă during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 55th minute, one of FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt. When Dorin Chirtoacă was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 62 minutes had been played. Bisturi F.C. made a substitution. Alvise Micucci replaced Cosimo Gaeta. After a rather tough play, FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's Dorin Chirtoacă got a free kick in the 64th minute. Bisturi F.C.'s Daniele Piccirilli got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ferdinando Di Natale charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ferdinando Di Natale the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Bisturi F.C.'s Ferdinando Di Natale got a free kick in the 70th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvise Micucci in the 75th minute of play forced FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's goalkeeper Marian Bălan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marian Bălan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniele Piccirilli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 80 played minutes Bisturi F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Alvise Micucci. Alvise Micucci took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marian Bălan. Marian Bălan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. In the 91stth minute of the game Alvise Micucci who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's Marian Bălan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's Aron Neaga got a free kick in the 92nd minute. In the 96th minute Alvise Micucci shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marian Bălan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bisturi F.C.'s fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
