Spectators: 157 (Terracing: 118, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Teodoro Valle started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute, Frederico França left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rio Verde F.C CIMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Frederico França's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 8thth minute, Arlindo Meireles skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 10th minute, Fiori Cerezo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Tiago Matos fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Xurupita FC's protests and gave Tiago Matos a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Xurupita FC getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Tiago Matos hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Xurupita FC's zone, Frederico França stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arlindo Meireles came out of the goal and Frederico França tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Rio Verde F.C CIMZ getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Lenílson Gomes hit a great ball. Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Frederico França got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 25th minute Teodoro Valle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karim Bado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Frederico França kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Arlindo Meireles. That made the score 4-0 in the 27 minute of play. In the 30th play minute Frederico França came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Arlindo Meireles. 5-0. 33 minutes into the match, Xurupita FC's goal looked a bit too open when Frederico França came free, but Arlindo Meireles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 34 minutes Xurupita FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tadeu Britto who took care of the corner kick. Lenílson Gomes was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Xurupita FC's Arlindo Meireles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frederico França in the 36th minute of play. Frederico França recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Frederico França might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arlindo Meireles. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Frederico França ran back to his position shaking his head. Arlindo Meireles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frederico França, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. 43 minutes into the match, Xurupita FC's goalkeeper Arlindo Meireles had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Frederico França. After some careless play in the Xurupita FC defense, Frederico França kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arlindo Meireles. The Xurupita FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arlindo Meireles should have stopped the shot. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Frederico França to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Xurupita FC's Tiago Matos got a free kick in the 50th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Frederico França in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arlindo Meireles prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 55 minutes into the match, Frederico França notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Xurupita FC's Arlindo Meireles. Arlindo Meireles was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Frederico França managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Frederico França was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arlindo Meireles breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Arlindo Meireles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frederico França in the 59th minute of play. Arlindo Meireles came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Frederico França. But to his dismay, Frederico França quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. Xurupita FC's Arlindo Meireles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lenílson Gomes in the 68th minute of play. Arlindo Meireles didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Frederico França went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 9-0 was the resulting score. After 78 minutes of play, Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Lenílson Gomes made it 10-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arlindo Meireles was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Frederico França in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arlindo Meireles prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Renan Tepedino was substituted for Sidnei Sanches. In the 90th match minute, Rio Verde F.C CIMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lenílson Gomes to maneuver through the defense. Tiago Matos took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 91st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Karim Bado. Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 94th minute, Frederico França left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rio Verde F.C CIMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 12-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Rio Verde F.C CIMZ fully deserved thier win.
