Gustavo-Hernán Egoi might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Paul Wallin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gustavo-Hernán Egoi ran back to his position shaking his head. Paul Wallin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albino Corderun in the 18th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gustavo-Hernán Egoi in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paul Wallin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 25th minute, Gustavo-Hernán Egoi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Gustavo-Hernán Egoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 28 minutes into the match, Sportivo Fernet Branca's goal looked a bit too open when Kurt Söderberg came free, but Tsinamdzghvrishvili Brzęczyszczykiewicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kurt Söderberg in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. When the match clock showed 28 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Kurt Söderberg sped through Sportivo Fernet Branca's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tsinamdzghvrishvili Brzęczyszczykiewicz. Christopher Lundin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tsinamdzghvrishvili Brzęczyszczykiewicz having to interfere. Paul Wallin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustavo-Hernán Egoi in the 35th minute of the match. Paul Wallin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustavo-Hernán Egoi, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. The audience was convinced that Mauro Milano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Paul Wallin was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. Sonny Jansson lost his temper 43 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

51 minutes into the match, Sportivo Fernet Branca's Gustavo-Hernán Egoi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Paul Wallin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Paul Wallin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, FC Mackan United's Paul Wallin got control of the ball when Gustavo-Hernán Egoi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kurt Söderberg's late challenge caught a Sportivo Fernet Branca's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kurt Söderberg helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Sportivo Fernet Branca booed when FC Mackan United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thanks to some nice moves Romulo Lluis could shoot a difficult shot in the 95th minute, which Paul Wallin however easily saved by the left post. Sportivo Fernet Branca's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
