The corner ended in Andrei Chiose almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Le Stade Briochin UC's Tord Waller did a great save. In the 32nd minute Rutger Magnusson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tord Waller saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Örebro FF's attentive Djondo Djokodamono managed to snatch the ball when Hugo Galand made a throw-in in the 34th minute of the game. Örebro FF's Ivan Turina proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Örebro FF from getting a goal against them. In the 44th minute, Gaafar Jesus ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tord Waller was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1.
