Flávio Batista made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Norberto Abreu hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nabar Hinojos in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Flávio Batista prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luís Paulo de Castro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Itajaí Football Club defense, Nabar Hinojos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Flávio Batista. The Itajaí Football Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Flávio Batista should have stopped the shot. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nabar Hinojos to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Nabar Hinojos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Flávio Batista was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Conrado Miranda got free with Grabiel Arandoja in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 56 minutes into the game, Estevao Caro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Grabiel Arandoja was out of position in the 71 minute of play, and Luís Paulo de Castro capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Luís Paulo de Castro really showed his touch with that goal: 7-2. Flávio Batista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eloy Pedreira in the 74th minute of play. Amílton dos Santos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Grabiel Arandoja tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Grabiel Arandoja showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Paulo de Castro in the 81st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Itajaí Football Club's Hélio Goiano got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Eleuterio Larramendi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Amílton dos Santos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Grabiel Arandoja read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. Flávio Batista took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rayman Sesse, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 89 minutes into the match, Itajaí Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Estevao Caro came free, but Flávio Batista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rayman Sesse hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. BINGO FUEL had won after a very even match.
