After 7 played minutes Florencio Librado rounded North Pole Kickers's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. In the 10th minute, one of North Pole Kickers:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for North Pole Kickers. When the match had been going on for 11 minutes, BAC Belgrano de Cba's Ezequiel Gumaro got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Egil Åkerman. After 15 played minutes North Pole Kickers got a freekick which was hit by Grant Trää. Anier Balendin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Valdemar Tomasson went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. If Pere Noel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Pere Noel put it in 3-2 from a short distance just to the right of Anier Balendin. In the 32nd minute, Ezequiel Gumaro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Bo Vester fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored North Pole Kickers's protests and gave Bo Vester a yellow card for diving instead. Bo Vester hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Florencio Librado took a quick shot and it went in 4-2 without a chance for Egil Åkerman to make any attempt to save it. Anier Balendin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valdemar Tomasson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. BAC Belgrano de Cba's Florencio Librado was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 44th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-2 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Valdemar Tomasson was the one to do the kick off. BAC Belgrano de Cba's attentive Ezequiel Gumaro managed to snatch the ball when Selmo Benítez made a throw-in in the 54th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Braulio Peru in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Egil Åkerman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alberto Calvet kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. The supporters of North Pole Kickers booed when BAC Belgrano de Cba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Calvet didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anier Balendin was a little too slow when Valdemar Tomasson got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 63rd minute. The score was now 5-3. After some careless play in the North Pole Kickers defense, Florencio Librado kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Egil Åkerman. The North Pole Kickers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Egil Åkerman should have stopped the shot. 84 minutes into the match, Florencio Librado had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Egil Åkerman. North Pole Kickers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Florencio Librado was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-3. In the 87th minute, North Pole Kickers's Matias Maldini seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Matias Maldini the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of North Pole Kickers protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Matias Maldini had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in North Pole Kickers fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 86th minute. Penalty! 93 minutes into the game, Selmo Benítez threw the ball into play from the sideline. BAC Belgrano de Cba's Ezequiel Gumaro quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Ezequiel Gumaro took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 94th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Egil Åkerman. North Pole Kickers's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 95th minute, Valdemar Tomasson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. North Pole Kickers's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
