A sloppy throw-in by Per-Erik Bergfelt in the 7th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Expresso Ranelagh's Aldo Gorosti. Kåre Blom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Márcio Lago, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Magnus Skålberg hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pablo Lohitzun prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Pablo Lohitzun stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Birger Rosendal's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. In the 31st minute, Expresso Ranelagh's Márcio Lago dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. A throw-in in the 34th minute of the game was made by Magnus Skålberg with Magnus Skålberg as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 36 minutes into the match, INIXET BK's goal looked a bit too open when Márcio Lago came free, but Kåre Blom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 39th minute, Márcio Lago got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zacarias Umea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Márcio Lago kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Kåre Blom. That made the score 3-1 in the 42 minute of play.

The wind increased when Birger Rosendal made the kick off in the second half. Kåre Blom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Márcio Lago, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. The supporters of Expresso Ranelagh booed when INIXET BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Algot Cane didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kåre Blom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Svetoslav Vardarov, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. But to his dismay, Svetoslav Vardarov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-1. Kåre Blom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Svetoslav Vardarov, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Svetoslav Vardarov managed to get in a good position for a shot. Expresso Ranelagh's supporters rose to their feet, but Svetoslav Vardarov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kåre Blom breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 89th minute Svetoslav Vardarov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kåre Blom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sven-Ove Strömbom charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sven-Ove Strömbom the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, INIXET BK's Sven-Ove Strömbom got a free kick in the 90th minute. The Expresso Ranelagh fans' excitement grew in the 91st match minute when Expresso Ranelagh's Svetoslav Vardarov looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 10-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind INIXET BK's goalkeeper Kåre Blom, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the referee ended the match the Expresso Ranelagh players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
