The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN's Irinel Stănilă dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 10th minute, PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN's Karl-Ove Holm ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Claudinho de Souza. Claudinho de Souza yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. 13 minutes into the game, PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN's Karl-Ove Holm nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Claudinho de Souza made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. A collision led to Minuim SS getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Marcos de Lara hit a great ball. A hard shot 22 in the game by Irinel Stănilă from a close distance when the talented Claudinho de Souza managed to make a qualified save. Minuim SS's players were relieved. Claudinho de Souza made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Nicodim Epure sent off a good shot on target. After 24 minutes Minuim SS's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Leo Schuhmacher who took care of the corner kick. A collision led to PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Narcis Nediu hit a great ball. Claudinho de Souza stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Irinel Stănilă's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Irinel Stănilă got free with Claudinho de Souza in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 29th minute, Silvinho Marquez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 31 minutes, Leo Schuhmacher managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leo Schuhmacher was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Claudinho de Souza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl-Ove Holm, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Claudinho de Souza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Irinel Stănilă in the 40th minute of play. Claudinho de Souza was a little too slow when Nae Conta got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 41st minute. The score was now 4-0. Claudinho de Souza didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Irinel Stănilă went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Long Fan Yang hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Irinel Stănilă made the kick off in the second half. Karl-Ove Holm took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Claudinho de Souza. Claudinho de Souza dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. Claudinho de Souza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leo Schuhmacher, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Marcos de Lara kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. In the 65th minute Karl-Ove Holm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudinho de Souza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Karl-Ove Holm scored 7-0 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Claudinho de Souza, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Minuim SS's Claudinho de Souza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leo Schuhmacher in the 74th minute of play. Claudinho de Souza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicodim Epure, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcos de Lara was shown his second yellow card after 77 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Marcos de Lara kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Claudinho de Souza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Irinel Stănilă in the 83rd minute of play. Claudinho de Souza stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leo Schuhmacher's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Irinel Stănilă put it in 9-0 from a short distance just to the right of Claudinho de Souza. Minuim SS's Claudinho de Souza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicodim Epure in the 90th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Irinel Stănilă in the 93rd minute of play forced Minuim SS's goalkeeper Claudinho de Souza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Irinel Stănilă in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Claudinho de Souza prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Irinel Stănilă in the 96th minute of play forced Minuim SS's goalkeeper Claudinho de Souza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There was no doubt that PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN were the better team. PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
