Valdemar Quadros was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 12th minute, Elder Seco made a precise shot to the right of Valdemar Quadros. Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Kaká da Silva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Valdemar Quadros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Emanuel Almeida managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s supporters rose to their feet, but Emanuel Almeida was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dida Braga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kaká da Silva in the 24th minute of play forced Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s goalkeeper Valdemar Quadros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dida Braga made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sílvio Ramalho in the 26th minute. Valdemar Quadros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Braga in the 30th minute of play. Dida Braga was out of position in the 32 minute of play, and Emanuel Almeida capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Emanuel Almeida really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Valdemar Quadros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elder Seco, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. After 36 played minutes Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ- got a freekick which was hit by Sílvio Ramalho. After some careless play in the Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ- defense, Elder Seco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Valdemar Quadros. The Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ- fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Valdemar Quadros should have stopped the shot. Valdemar Quadros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elder Seco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Emanuel Almeida made a kick off. O MOTIVO ⚽'s Dida Braga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuel Almeida in the 52nd minute of play. A collision led to Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ- getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Sílvio Ramalho hit a great ball. In the 55th play minute Kaká da Silva came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Valdemar Quadros. 1-4. Betinho Dantas kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Valdemar Quadros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elder Seco, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Kaká da Silva kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Valdemar Quadros. That made the score 1-5 in the 66 minute of play. Válbson Koehler kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. In the 74th minute, Sílvio Ramalho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dida Braga was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-5. Jaime Quirino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Valdemar Quadros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elder Seco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Elder Seco received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Valdemar Quadros came out and tried to block the shot, but Elder Seco slotted it home off the left post making it 2-6 in the 82nd minute. With a little luck, Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s Valdemar Quadros got control of the ball when Kaká da Silva tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 88th match minute, O MOTIVO ⚽ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manuel Maciel to maneuver through the defense. In the 89th minute, Emanuel Almeida got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The O MOTIVO ⚽ supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing O MOTIVO ⚽ would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
