The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Casimiro Erramun showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 21stth minute of the game Patricio Vedillo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Amputees FC's Neville Peach was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Earle Franklin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Casimiro Erramun having to interfere. In the 28th minute Bud Bailey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casimiro Erramun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 34thth minute of the game Bud Bailey who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cebollitas F.C.'s Casimiro Erramun was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dagan Eicke in the 35th minute of play forced Cebollitas F.C.'s goalkeeper Casimiro Erramun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amputees FC were awarded a corner in the 37th minute after Cebollitas F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Howie Withy took the corner. Dane Chamberlain hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. After having played for 44 minutes, Fernan Emesto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cebollitas F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Fernan Emesto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Bud Bailey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fernan Emesto to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fernan Emesto in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Neville Peach prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Eden Heberle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The attack was good, but when Bud Bailey in the 64th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Israel Gonzo's late challenge caught a Amputees FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cebollitas F.C.'s Casimiro Erramun proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Cebollitas F.C. from getting a goal against them.
