The supporters of BAIRES booed when Mineiros Esporte Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Paulo Esteves didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelino Bastian in the 4th minute of play forced Mineiros Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Arnaldo de Carvalho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 7th minute Marcelino Bastian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnaldo de Carvalho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Constantino Behe scored 0-1 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arnaldo de Carvalho, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 10th minute Alberto Dominic shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnaldo de Carvalho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 14 minutes into the match, Mineiros Esporte Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelino Bastian came free, but Arnaldo de Carvalho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th match minute, Mineiros Esporte Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilton Siqueira to maneuver through the defense. 36 minutes into the match, BAIRES's goal looked a bit too open when Wilton Siqueira came free, but Leo Gaskon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alberto Dominic struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Arnaldo de Carvalho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BAIRES. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wilton Siqueira was the one to do the kick off. Arnaldo de Carvalho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Dominic in the 54th minute of play. 54 minutes into the match, Alberto Dominic notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Mineiros Esporte Clube's Arnaldo de Carvalho. Arnaldo de Carvalho was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 64 minutes into the match, Mineiros Esporte Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Constantino Behe came free, but Arnaldo de Carvalho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Romeo Mitxaut hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Wilton Siqueira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Leo Gaskon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arnaldo de Carvalho made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Braulio Olo sent off a good shot on target. Arnaldo de Carvalho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Braulio Olo in the 71st minute of the match. Rogério Massa lost his temper 73 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Rogério Massa kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. If Braulio Olo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leo Gaskon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilton Siqueira, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Braulio Olo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnaldo de Carvalho having to interfere. Arnaldo de Carvalho stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alberto Dominic's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. Mineiros Esporte Clube's Arnaldo de Carvalho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Constantino Behe in the 86th minute of play. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind BAIRES's goalkeeper Leo Gaskon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 90 minutes into the match, Mineiros Esporte Clube's Wilton Siqueira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leo Gaskon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wilton Siqueira in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leo Gaskon saved BAIRES from getting behind. Pedro Paulo Esteves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Mineiros Esporte Clube fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. BAIRES were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
