In the 13th minute, Artemio Iratze got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gagriel Aramoyana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Artemio Iratze in the 15th minute of play. After some careless play in the Glorioso Deportivo Cali defense, Artemio Iratze kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gagriel Aramoyana. The Glorioso Deportivo Cali fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gagriel Aramoyana should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Glorioso Deportivo Cali's zone, Vicente Richie stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gagriel Aramoyana came out of the goal and Vicente Richie tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 26th minute, Siro Mercurio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 30th minute, Artemio Iratze ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gagriel Aramoyana was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 35 minutes into the game, Artemio Iratze cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Gagriel Aramoyana was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 40 minutes into the match, Aurre Salado dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Alejo Gaspard, 1-3. 45 minutes into the match, Glorioso Deportivo Cali's goal looked a bit too open when Artemio Iratze came free, but Gagriel Aramoyana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 47th minute Vicente Richie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gagriel Aramoyana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Luganeros AFC were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Artemio Iratze was the one to do the kick off. Artemio Iratze blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gagriel Aramoyana having to make a save. Gagriel Aramoyana made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Artemio Iratze sent off a good shot on target. Vicente Richie struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Gagriel Aramoyana didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Luganeros AFC. In the 86thth minute of the game Artemio Iratze who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Glorioso Deportivo Cali's Gagriel Aramoyana was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Glorioso Deportivo Cali getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Sanson Bayon hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Artemio Iratze in the 89th minute of play forced Glorioso Deportivo Cali's goalkeeper Gagriel Aramoyana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gagriel Aramoyana made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Vicente Richie sent off a good shot on target. In the 94th minute Luganeros AFC were awarded a corner. Amancio Jerrald went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Amancio Jerrald almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Glorioso Deportivo Cali's Gagriel Aramoyana did a great save. Haroldo Gomesano kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. After 97 played minutes Glorioso Deportivo Cali got a freekick which was hit by Melchazadec Sorondo. Luganeros AFC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
