In the 16th minute Philippe Gimbert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alberto Giorda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alberto Giorda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Philippe Gimbert in the 16th minute of the match. A hard shot 19 in the game by Éloi Artus from a close distance when the talented Alberto Giorda managed to make a qualified save. Merceron United's players were relieved. After 21 played minutes Merceron United got a freekick which was hit by Alvaro Colecchia. Merceron United's defense didn't have a chance, in the 23rd minute, when Philippe Gimbert scored to the left of an out of position Alberto Giorda, making the score, 2-0. Alberto Giorda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Philippe Gimbert in the 26th minute of play. Alberto Giorda made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Éloi Artus sent off a good shot on target. 34 minutes into the game, Alfredo Castrucci was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Merceron United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave klide13 the free kick. In the 35th minute, klide13's Éloi Artus ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Alberto Giorda. Alberto Giorda yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. After 38 minutes of play Merceron United's Alfredo Castrucci was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Alfredo Castrucci kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Philippe Gimbert in the 45th minute of play forced Merceron United's goalkeeper Alberto Giorda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 48th minute, klide13's Marvin Mariotte dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Carlo Mandelli stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of klide13 booed when Merceron United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fedele Piscitelli didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alvaro Colecchia during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 56th minute, Alvaro Colecchia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Éloi Artus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alberto Giorda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marvin Mariotte, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Alvaro Colecchia struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Mourad Almeras didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Merceron United. klide13's Tanguy Baronnet was substituted for Marc-Antoine Lavie. In the 65th minute, Fedele Piscitelli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 66 played minutes, klide13's Tanguy Baronnet shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Alberto Giorda came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in klide13 reached it. Marvin Mariotte took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alberto Giorda. Alberto Giorda dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Fedele Piscitelli got his second yellow card in the match during the 75th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 77th minute Philippe Gimbert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alberto Giorda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alberto Giorda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Éloi Artus in the 79th minute of play. In the 80th minute, Grégoire Villenave hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alberto Giorda didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marvin Mariotte went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. Alberto Giorda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Philippe Gimbert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. klide13 fully deserved thier win.
