After 3 minutes, Gilson Saldanha mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ and the klide13 players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ's Gilson Saldanha got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Tiaguinho Santana's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mourad Almeras read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. In the 10th match minute, klide13 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Germain Butet to maneuver through the defense. Luís Maia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marvin Mariotte, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Philippe Gimbert in the 17th minute of play forced PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ's goalkeeper Luís Maia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Terry Reichert recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luís Maia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Terry Reichert went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Germain Butet kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Luís Maia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Germain Butet in the 25th minute of play. Luís Maia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Terry Reichert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ's Manuel Mendonça got a free kick in the 31st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Germain Butet in the 32nd minute of play forced PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ's goalkeeper Luís Maia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th minute of the match Claudinei Sá sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mourad Almeras skillfully saved the ball. Mourad Almeras took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilson Saldanha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, klide13's Mourad Almeras got control of the ball when Gilson Saldanha tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 47th minute, Philippe Gimbert ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luís Maia was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After the first half klide13 were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Terry Reichert to make the kick off. After 61 played minutes klide13 got a freekick which was hit by Marvin Maertens. PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ's Luís Maia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marvin Mariotte in the 66th minute of play. Thiago Pombal's late challenge caught a klide13's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Thiago Pombal helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ's Thiago Pombal got a free kick in the 66th minute. Manuel Mendonça sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Manuel Mendonça received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Mourad Almeras tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ's Thiago Pombal got his second yellow card of the match in the 81st minute. The referee ordered Thiago Pombal off the ground. In the 82nd minute, Thiago Pombal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 83 minutes of play, klide13's Philippe Gimbert made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luís Maia was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luís Maia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marvin Mariotte, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Luís Maia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marvin Mariotte in the 96th minute. klide13's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
