Alberto Giorda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benedito Fernandez in the 11th minute of the match. Alberto Giorda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oséas das Neves in the 12th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amauri Romero in the 13th minute of play forced Merceron United's goalkeeper Alberto Giorda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wellington Gerber sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 16 minutes into the match, Merceron United's goal looked a bit too open when Benedito Fernandez came free, but Alberto Giorda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benedito Fernandez took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alberto Giorda. Alberto Giorda dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 22nd minute, Dario Briano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carlo Mandelli's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Haroldo Pitta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. The supporters of Club Sacode Football CIMZ booed when Merceron United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristoforo Muzzolon didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 37th match minute, Club Sacode Football CIMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ruy Félix to maneuver through the defense. Flavio Corvi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Haroldo Pitta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. 40 minutes into the match, Merceron United's goal looked a bit too open when Wellington Gerber came free, but Alberto Giorda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alberto Giorda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benedito Fernandez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In a very dangerous position, a player in Merceron United fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 42nd minute. Penalty! Percy Simão placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Dario Briano hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Merceron United's Alberto Giorda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benedito Fernandez in the 47th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Merceron United's Cristoforo Muzzolon got a free kick in the 47th minute. Benedito Fernandez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 50th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Alberto Giorda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benedito Fernandez in the 55th minute of play. The supporters of Club Sacode Football CIMZ booed when Merceron United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudio Bosso didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 57th minute of the match Percy Simão shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alberto Giorda showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Alberto Giorda was a little too slow when Amauri Romero got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 59th minute. The score was now 0-2. Haroldo Pitta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlo Mandelli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristoforo Muzzolon kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Alberto Giorda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amauri Romero in the 67th minute of play. The supporters of Club Sacode Football CIMZ booed when Merceron United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dario Briano didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 74th minute, Benedito Fernandez reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Alberto Giorda. The goal made the score 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amauri Romero in the 78th minute of play forced Merceron United's goalkeeper Alberto Giorda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benedito Fernandez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Merceron United's Alberto Giorda got control of the ball when Oséas das Neves tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 88 minutes, Benedito Fernandez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Sacode Football CIMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benedito Fernandez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 91 minutes, Dennis Coco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Merceron United and the Club Sacode Football CIMZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 91 played minutes Merceron United got a freekick which was hit by Dennis Coco. Benedito Fernandez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Alberto Giorda made a huge save. After 96 played minutes Merceron United got a freekick which was hit by Alvaro Colecchia. Haroldo Pitta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dario Briano in the 100th minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Club Sacode Football CIMZ left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Merceron United.
