Petrică Tărău made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Iosif Asachi sent off a good shot on target. Petrică Tărău made an important save on a dangerous shot by Remus Șerbulea in the 18th minute. A collision led to Raureni Academy getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Petrică Tărău came out of the goal and Iosif Asachi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Raureni Academy's Petrică Tărău proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Raureni Academy from getting a goal against them. In the 29th minute, DINAMO's Remus Șerbulea ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Petrică Tărău. Petrică Tărău yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Călin Boteanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Călin Barbosu in the 35th minute of the match. In the 38th minute, Călin Barbosu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 41 minutes into the match, DINAMO's goal looked a bit too open when Călin Barbosu came free, but Călin Boteanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Petrică Tărău made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adam Rednic in the 43rd minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Codruț Giurcă received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal.
