Petru Hristea took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 3rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Waldemar Cizeski. Olympique Gdynia's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 4 minutes, Corneliu Ţurcaş mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kobra TEAM and the Olympique Gdynia players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Olympique Gdynia booed when Kobra TEAM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Corneliu Ţurcaş didn't get a good kick on the ball. Iulian Durbac kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Edgar Mitică didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Krzysztof Warzycha went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 20 minutes into the game, Kobra TEAM's Cristian Ozon nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Waldemar Cizeski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After a rather tough play, Kobra TEAM's Petru Hristea got a free kick in the 28th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Kobra TEAM's zone, Krzysztof Warzycha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgar Mitică came out of the goal and Krzysztof Warzycha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marek Citko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 33rd minute Ludomil Waselewicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgar Mitică saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 35 played minutes Corneliu Ţurcaş rounded Olympique Gdynia's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-1. Cristian Ozon succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 4-1 in the 38th playminute. Petru Hristea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Waldemar Cizeski having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cristian Ozon stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Cristian Ozon made a precise shot to the right of Waldemar Cizeski. Olympique Gdynia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. In the 59th minute Corneliu Ţurcaş shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waldemar Cizeski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 61st minute, Petru Hristea left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kobra TEAM fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-2. Aurel Opincaru was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 77 minutes into the match. In the 76th minute, one of Kobra TEAM:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Kobra TEAM. The excitement rose when Olympique Gdynia's Jan Sienkiewicz after 79 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for Kobra TEAM's goalkeeper to hold. Score! 6-3. In the 82nd minute Corneliu Ţurcaş shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waldemar Cizeski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Waldemar Cizeski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Petru Hristea, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. In the 94th match minute, Olympique Gdynia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomasz Hajto to maneuver through the defense. Olympique Gdynia's Waldemar Cizeski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Corneliu Ţurcaş in the 96th minute of play.
