The FC Kopli fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aivar Laineste should have stopped the shot. Aivar Laineste showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tommi Braun, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. 17 minutes into the match, FC Kopli's goal looked a bit too open when Erich Otten came free, but Aivar Laineste reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 20 minutes, Aabel Kravik mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Kopli and the FV Wienerwald players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 20th match minute, FC Kopli was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aabel Kravik to maneuver through the defense. 21 minutes into the game, Sander Vips was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Kopli's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FV Wienerwald the free kick. After a rather tough play, FC Kopli's Sander Vips got a free kick in the 21st minute. Aivar Laineste took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nickolas Kaiser, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC Kopli's Aivar Laineste played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erich Otten in the 25th minute of play. After 25 played minutes FC Kopli got a freekick which was hit by Kasimir Kasemaa. 31 minutes into the game, Tommi Braun was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FV Wienerwald's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Kopli the free kick. After 31 played minutes FV Wienerwald got a freekick which was hit by Tommi Braun. Ahti Kadak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robin Riese having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in FC Kopli's zone, Erich Otten stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aivar Laineste came out of the goal and Erich Otten tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aivar Laineste showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tommi Braun in the 47th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

A collision led to FV Wienerwald getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Felix Eberl hit a great ball. The supporters of FV Wienerwald booed when FC Kopli was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silver Salavesi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 57th minute, FV Wienerwald's Tommi Braun ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Aivar Laineste. Aivar Laineste yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. FV Wienerwald made a substitution. Nico Schriever replaced Johann Szczepanowski. Aivar Laineste didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Erich Otten went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. FV Wienerwald's Elmar Wögerbauer was substituted for Joachim Wolf. In the 74th minute Tommi Braun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aivar Laineste saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 77th minute by Erich Otten got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Erich Otten got free with Aivar Laineste in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 80 minutes, Tommi Braun took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Aivar Laineste to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tommi Braun in the 83rd minute of play forced FC Kopli's goalkeeper Aivar Laineste to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Robin Riese showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vaino Oidra in the 85th minute of the match. After 86 played minutes FC Kopli got a freekick which was hit by Sander Vips. The FV Wienerwald supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FV Wienerwald would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
