Fervent Stalkers's supporters rose to their feet, but Froilan Ladio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Toralf Noldt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 15th minute, Leonardo Güde ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arnaldo Fanuco was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. When Honorato Tallia fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fervent Stalkers's protests and gave Honorato Tallia a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Fervent Stalkers's Honorato Tallia got a free kick in the 20th minute. Tommy Trunschke struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Arnaldo Fanuco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for 1.FC Aufbau-Einsturz. 24 minutes into the match, 1.FC Aufbau-Einsturz's goalkeeper Toralf Noldt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gabriel Gerazan. Arnaldo Fanuco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claes Kirn in the 29th minute of the match. Arnaldo Fanuco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Volker Biermann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35th minute, Tommy Trunschke got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of 1.FC Aufbau-Einsturz booed when Fervent Stalkers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Inocencio Herensuge didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 38th minute of the match Tommy Trunschke shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arnaldo Fanuco showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Gabriel Gerazan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Toralf Noldt made a huge save. Ignacio Bela hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Gabriel Gerazan made the kick off in the second half. Leonardo Güde might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arnaldo Fanuco. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Leonardo Güde ran back to his position shaking his head. Arnaldo Fanuco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Volker Biermann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Froilan Ladio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Toralf Noldt was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. In the 61st match minute, Fervent Stalkers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agustin Ayala to maneuver through the defense. After 75 played minutes Fervent Stalkers got a freekick which was hit by Honorato Tallia. Arnaldo Fanuco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Volker Biermann in the 79th minute of play. Claes Kirn received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Arnaldo Fanuco came out and tried to block the shot, but Claes Kirn slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 80th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Gabriel Gerazan managed to get in a good position for a shot. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing 1.FC Aufbau-Einsturz would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
