Erich Otten started the match with the kick off. Daniel Trattnig came free with the goalkeeper in the 3rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Arnaldo Fanuco could save by the left post. Arnaldo Fanuco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Erich Otten in the 4th minute. After 7 played minutes FV Wienerwald got a freekick which was hit by Nickolas Kaiser. The audience thought a goal was coming when Erich Otten got free with Arnaldo Fanuco in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arnaldo Fanuco made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Erich Otten sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to FV Wienerwald getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Nickolas Kaiser hit a great ball. 21 minutes into the match, Froilan Ladio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Robin Riese. FV Wienerwald's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Froilan Ladio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After a rather tough play, FV Wienerwald's Tommi Braun got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Clemente Darien sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gernot Rosentreter in the 33rd minute of play forced Fervent Stalkers's goalkeeper Arnaldo Fanuco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arnaldo Fanuco was out of position in the 36 minute of play, and Daniel Trattnig capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Daniel Trattnig really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Fervent Stalkers's Arnaldo Fanuco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gernot Rosentreter in the 39th minute of play. Erich Otten could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Arnaldo Fanuco made a huge save. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gabriel Gerazan made a kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Daniel Trattnig cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Arnaldo Fanuco was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 53rd minute Erich Otten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnaldo Fanuco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arnaldo Fanuco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Trattnig in the 55th minute of the match. Daniel Trattnig hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. FV Wienerwald's Gabriel Vanik was substituted for Gernot Rosentreter. In the 59th match minute, FV Wienerwald was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Trattnig to maneuver through the defense. Fervent Stalkers's Arnaldo Fanuco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel Vanik in the 69th minute of play. Arnaldo Fanuco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Trattnig, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 71 minutes, Tommi Braun made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. Fervent Stalkers's Arnaldo Fanuco tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. FV Wienerwald's Elmar Wögerbauer was substituted for Joachim Wolf. FV Wienerwald's Rick Rösen was substituted for Johann Szczepanowski. 77 minutes into the game, Tommi Braun cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Arnaldo Fanuco was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 82nd minute Osvaldo Galoer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robin Riese saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ignacio Bela kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. When Felix Eberl fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FV Wienerwald's protests and gave Felix Eberl a yellow card for diving instead. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. FV Wienerwald had won after a very even match.
