Deportivo Medievales's Atilano Pirmin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Farias in the 8th minute of play. Norberto Santana struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Teo Erauso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Deportivo Medievales. In the 11th minute, Norberto Santana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Atilano Pirmin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Inocencio Inautzi in the 13th minute of play. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Villa La Perla's goalkeeper Teo Erauso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 20 minutes had been played when some careless play by Villa La Perla's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gualterio Niguel was slow to take the kick. During this time Deportivo Medievales's players had a chance to rest. Gualterio Niguel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Teo Erauso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joaquin Juvenal's late challenge caught a Deportivo Medievales's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joaquin Juvenal helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Villa La Perla's Joaquin Juvenal got a free kick in the 33rd minute. After 34 minutes of play, Deportivo Medievales's Gualterio Niguel made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Teo Erauso was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jonas Ramos hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Silvio Umbruso's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Atilano Pirmin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

In the 54th minute Cristian Farias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Atilano Pirmin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Inocencio Inautzi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Jonas Ramos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Deportivo Medievales's Jonas Ramos in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Villa La Perla's goalie prevented a goal. Gualterio Niguel came free with the goalkeeper in the 75th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Teo Erauso could save by the left post. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
