PIAUÍ FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Potencial Desperdiciado F the free kick. In the 5th minute, Agnaldo Sá hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Potencial Desperdiciado F's Luisito Quinton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuel Vale in the 14th minute of play. In the 15th minute Emanuel Vale shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luisito Quinton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 16 minutes, Virgilio Oinaz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Potencial Desperdiciado F's supporters crossed their fingers, but Virgilio Oinaz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to PIAUÍ FC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Acácio Paiva hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Potencial Desperdiciado F's Virgilio Oinaz got a free kick in the 18th minute. After a rather tough play, Potencial Desperdiciado F's Felipe Guib got a free kick in the 21st minute. Léo Moreno's late challenge caught a Potencial Desperdiciado F's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Léo Moreno helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to PIAUÍ FC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Léo Moreno hit a great ball. 25 minutes into the match, Nicolas Guter dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of José Paulo Zonta, 2-0. Isaac Poncio received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. José Paulo Zonta came out and tried to block the shot, but Isaac Poncio slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 34th minute. Virgilio Oinaz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Paulo Zonta having to interfere. Virgilio Oinaz's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but José Paulo Zonta firmly grabbed it by the left post. José Paulo Zonta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicolas Guter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nicolas Guter kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match.

The wind increased when Emanuel Vale made the kick off in the second half. Nicolas Guter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Paulo Zonta having to interfere. When Isaac Poncio fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Potencial Desperdiciado F's protests and gave Isaac Poncio a yellow card for diving instead. In the 54th minute, Isaac Poncio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Potencial Desperdiciado F's Herminio Bastian got a free kick in the 63rd minute. In the 70th minute Nicolas Guter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Paulo Zonta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Virgilio Oinaz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. José Paulo Zonta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Virgilio Oinaz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luisito Quinton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuel Vale, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agnaldo Sá in the 86th minute of play forced Potencial Desperdiciado F's goalkeeper Luisito Quinton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 87th match minute, Potencial Desperdiciado F was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adan Odilon to maneuver through the defense. Joãozinho Yver's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 92ndth minute, Luisito Quinton skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Potencial Desperdiciado F's Luisito Quinton proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Potencial Desperdiciado F from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, PIAUÍ FC's Acácio Paiva got a free kick in the 94th minute. When the referee blew the final whistle, Potencial Desperdiciado F could leave the field as winners, despite PIAUÍ FC having more of the ball for most of the match.
