Billesholm's Tony Hedberg got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 58 minutes into the match, Billesholm's goalkeeper Melker Barck had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by José Carlos Castro. The audience thought a goal was coming when Baltazar Rossi got free with Melker Barck in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 70thth minute of the game José Carlos Castro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Billesholm's Melker Barck was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Percy Capixaba fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Scarlet Speedster's protests and gave Percy Capixaba a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Scarlet Speedster's Percy Capixaba got a free kick in the 71st minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Charles Moura couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Scarlet Speedster getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Remo Leme hit a great ball. Leonard Gallin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ronaldão Lucas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. When the match was over Scarlet Speedster could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Billesholm throughout the match.
