Spectators: 157 (Terracing: 118, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) In the 6th minute, Ademir Carvalho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Afonsinho Donatello kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Guto Teles came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Galo do Japi's Dráusio Toscano. But to his dismay, Dráusio Toscano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Denílson Urbano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Guto Teles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 18 minutes, Dráusio Toscano made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Lindner F.C's Guto Teles tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Lindner F.C's Amauri Favoretto got a free kick in the 20th minute. Guto Teles didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ademir Carvalho went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Benedito Nóbrega was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Beto Arósio showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 30 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dedê Meireles in the 36th minute of play forced Galo do Japi's goalkeeper Benedito Nóbrega to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 39 minutes into the game, Orlando Arruda was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Galo do Japi's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lindner F.C the free kick. The supporters of Lindner F.C booed when Galo do Japi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orlando Arruda didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Lindner F.C's zone, Kiko Novaes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Guto Teles came out of the goal and Kiko Novaes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dedê Meireles stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 57 played minutes Galo do Japi got a freekick which was hit by Orlando Arruda. Orlando Arruda kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. With his leg Guto Teles managed to avoid a goal in the 67thth minute, when Galo do Japi's Dudu Alagoano fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 73 minutes into the match, Galo do Japi's goal looked a bit too open when Dedê Meireles came free, but Benedito Nóbrega reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Ademir Carvalho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Galo do Japi's supporters rose to their feet, but Ademir Carvalho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Guto Teles breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Lindner F.C getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Kléber Barreto hit a great ball. Guto Teles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dudu Alagoano in the 78th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dedê Meireles in the 80th minute of play forced Galo do Japi's goalkeeper Benedito Nóbrega to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dudu Alagoano had several of the Lindner F.C's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 89 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-6 score and a disappointed Guto Teles as he didn't even see the shot coming. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Galo do Japi walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
