Donato Abel was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Sezai Refah. Teodoro Obeko struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Şaban Salah didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Imperio Cordobés FC. When Aquiles Rozarius fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Imperio Cordobés FC's protests and gave Aquiles Rozarius a yellow card for diving instead. In the 32nd minute, one of Imperio Cordobés FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Imperio Cordobés FC. In the 36th minute, Kenan Haylaz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Donato Abel was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Wilfredo Ledesma to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute of the match Haroldo Perrando shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Şaban Salah showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.
