Nichifor Atodiresei was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Izesti's players had a chance to rest. Denis Berevoescu scored 0-1 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luisito Eneko, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Denis Miulescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucas Passerini in the 13th minute of play. In the 16th minute Robert Popic shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luisito Eneko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17th match minute, FC Izesti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Petru Borcea to maneuver through the defense. Internet XAire's Ermegildo Inocente got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Remigio Eusko hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. When Robert Popic fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Izesti's protests and gave Robert Popic a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Internet XAire booed when FC Izesti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robert Popic didn't get a good kick on the ball. Denis Miulescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Remigio Eusko in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 23rd match minute, Internet XAire was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Esteban Jacindo to maneuver through the defense. Denis Miulescu came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Internet XAire's Saul Oskarbi. But to his dismay, Saul Oskarbi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 33rd match minute, Internet XAire was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucas Passerini to maneuver through the defense. In the 34th minute of the match Isac Popean shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luisito Eneko showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Matei Abutnăriței scored 1-3 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luisito Eneko, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 40th minute, Radu Stănilă hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Radu Stănilă fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luisito Eneko having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Matei Abutnăriței's late challenge caught a Internet XAire's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Matei Abutnăriței helped the player get up and apologised. Matei Abutnăriței hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Denis Miulescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Remigio Eusko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC Izesti's Denis Miulescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucas Passerini in the 57th minute of play. A collision led to FC Izesti getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Radu Stănilă hit a great ball. In the 70th minute, Esteban Jacindo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Internet XAire booed when FC Izesti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matei Abutnăriței didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 73rd minute of the match Ermegildo Inocente sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Denis Miulescu skillfully saved the ball. In the 75th minute, Maxim Corbea reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Luisito Eneko. The goal made the score 1-4. Denis Miulescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Remigio Eusko in the 84th minute of the match. The FC Izesti supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FC Izesti would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
