Hugon Pilarski was shown his second yellow card after 20 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jacek Sochacki to make the kick off. Wladyslaw Wielopolski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jerzy Zahemski having to interfere. Jerzy Zahemski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacek Sochacki in the 59th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Juliusz Pacholewski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lech Gorzkiewicz was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. The supporters of CKS Zbiersk booed when Gleszcz SSA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zachariasz Chojnacki didn't get a good kick on the ball.
