The supporters of ATHLETICO PRaiano booed when VB-Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aprígio Campos didn't get a good kick on the ball. VB-Team's Mariano Godinho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adhemar Diniz in the 16th minute of play. In the 17th match minute, ATHLETICO PRaiano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Natã de Carvalho to maneuver through the defense. After 20 played minutes VB-Team got a freekick which was hit by Heitor Cabral. José Paulo Almeida was shown his second yellow card after 27 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Heitor Cabral during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 29 played minutes VB-Team got a freekick which was hit by Heitor Cabral. After having played for 31 minutes, Rômulo Miranda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ATHLETICO PRaiano's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rômulo Miranda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. ATHLETICO PRaiano's Adhemar Diniz got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of ATHLETICO PRaiano booed when VB-Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evandro Raminhos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Virgílio Maia kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. In the 40th minute, Adhemar Diniz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rômulo Miranda kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Rômulo Miranda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mariano Godinho having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abílio Mafra was the one to do the kick off. Oséas Mendonça didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Octávio Macieira went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. ATHLETICO PRaiano's Oséas Mendonça played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viriato Calheiros in the 72nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in ATHLETICO PRaiano's zone, Viriato Calheiros stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oséas Mendonça came out of the goal and Viriato Calheiros tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Evandro Raminhos kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Alberto Tróia kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. 93 minutes into the game, Abílio Mafra cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Oséas Mendonça was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
