Stephan Bouman's late challenge caught a Los Ángeles de Charlie 2's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Stephan Bouman helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Geetsvondel²'s Stephan Bouman got a free kick in the 2nd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wayne Sterks during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 8 played minutes Geetsvondel² got a freekick which was hit by Wayne Sterks. Jannick Decorte made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Ramón Puyol sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the Los Ángeles de Charlie 2 defense, Jef Vanden Bussche kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vidal Carrasco. The Los Ángeles de Charlie 2 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vidal Carrasco should have stopped the shot. In the 17th minute, Ciro Comas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jef Vanden Bussche struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Vidal Carrasco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Geetsvondel². In the 23rd minute Douglas Gijselinckx shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vidal Carrasco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, Los Ángeles de Charlie 2's goal looked a bit too open when Jef Vanden Bussche came free, but Vidal Carrasco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vidal Carrasco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tibaut Temmerman, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Jannick Decorte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eustaquio Martin, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Unax Camara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Jannick Decorte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 37 minutes into the game, Tibaut Temmerman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Vidal Carrasco was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Unax Camara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jannick Decorte having to interfere. Jannick Decorte made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ramón Puyol in the 43rd minute. After the first half Geetsvondel² were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ramón Puyol made a kick off. If Douglas Gijselinckx had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Vidal Carrasco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Douglas Gijselinckx's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. After a rather tough play, Los Ángeles de Charlie 2's Gabriel Barrios got a free kick in the 56th minute. Douglas Gijselinckx took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vidal Carrasco. Vidal Carrasco dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Vidal Carrasco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stephan Bouman in the 66th minute of play. Vidal Carrasco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tibaut Temmerman in the 69th minute of play. Vidal Carrasco was a little too slow when Douglas Gijselinckx got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 73rd minute. The score was now 1-4. After a rather tough play, Los Ángeles de Charlie 2's Torcuato Tobia got a free kick in the 81st minute. In the 82nd minute of the match Jef Vanden Bussche shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vidal Carrasco showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Jannick Decorte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramón Puyol, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Douglas Gijselinckx managed to get in a good position for a shot. Geetsvondel²'s supporters rose to their feet, but Douglas Gijselinckx was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vidal Carrasco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 90th minute, Douglas Gijselinckx hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jef Vanden Bussche could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Vidal Carrasco made a huge save. Unax Camara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Los Ángeles de Charlie 2 fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Geetsvondel² were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
