Pedro Luiz Corrêa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernabe Madeo, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. If Gino Bezerra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cosme Peio got free with Pedro Luiz Corrêa in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 16 minutes had been played when some careless play by Inazuma Japan's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Maximo Franco was slow to take the kick. During this time Mystyc FC's players had a chance to rest. 20 minutes into the game, Alexandre Garcia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Candido Lizar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alejandro Raphael hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Mystyc FC's Justo Dantae got a free kick in the 29th minute. Bernabe Madeo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Luiz Corrêa having to interfere. 34 minutes into the match, Mystyc FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jeferson de Amorim came free, but Candido Lizar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alexandre Garcia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paulo José Senna was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 45 minutes into the match. In the 46th match minute, Inazuma Japan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo José Senna to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bernabe Madeo in the 48th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedro Luiz Corrêa saved Inazuma Japan from getting behind. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Pedro Luiz Corrêa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luisito Jaen kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Mystyc FC's Cosme Peio got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 73rd minute Bernabe Madeo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Luiz Corrêa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Candido Lizar came out of the goal and Jeferson de Amorim tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 92 minutes into the game, Vitório de Senna was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Inazuma Japan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mystyc FC the free kick. Filiberto Clodio's late challenge caught a Inazuma Japan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Filiberto Clodio helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Mystyc FC's Filiberto Clodio got a free kick in the 94th minute. Inazuma Japan played a much better game than Mystyc FC and deserved their victory. The Mystyc FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
