The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Nunez Urtzi kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Cosme Markel's late challenge caught a Pepsi Fuchibol Clu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cosme Markel helped the player get up and apologised. Domingo Abeijon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abelardo Ledesma in the 14th minute of play. Domingo Abeijon was a little too slow when Abelardo Ledesma got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 15th minute. The score was now 2-0. Eugenio Paz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Javiar Abadia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Kaplan's Ruben Felipo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Domingo Abeijon. That made the score 3-0 after 20 minutes of play. Pepsi Fuchibol Clu's Domingo Abeijon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruben Felipo in the 24th minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Pepsi Fuchibol Clu's goalkeeper Domingo Abeijon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Angel Calisto. In the 28th minute Javiar Abadia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugenio Paz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, Kaplan's goal looked a bit too open when Elazar Abaurre came free, but Eugenio Paz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 34 minutes, Ruben Felipo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kaplan and the Pepsi Fuchibol Clu players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 34 played minutes Kaplan got a freekick which was hit by Ruben Felipo. Ruben Felipo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Domingo Abeijon made a huge save. Claudio Mundo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Domingo Abeijon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 45th minute, Juan-Alfredo Abel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

54 minutes into the game, Aurelio Herauso was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kaplan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pepsi Fuchibol Clu the free kick. In the 54th match minute, Kaplan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aurelio Herauso to maneuver through the defense. In the 58th match minute, Pepsi Fuchibol Clu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clemente Abalos to maneuver through the defense. After 66 played minutes Kaplan got a freekick which was hit by Ruben Felipo. Eugenio Paz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Quentin Abella showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-1 in the 67 minute of play. Eugenio Paz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Javiar Abadia in the 71st minute of the match. In the 74th match minute, Kaplan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aristides Avellaneda to maneuver through the defense. After 75 minutes, Frisco Abajas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pepsi Fuchibol Clu and the Kaplan players grew even worse after the yellow card. Kaplan made a substitution. Diego Abajas replaced Abelardo Ledesma. 82 minutes into the game, Kaplan's Diego Abajas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Domingo Abeijon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. 86 minutes into the game, Diego Abajas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-1. Domingo Abeijon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Eugenio Paz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Javiar Abadia in the 91st minute of play. When Albino Abeijon fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pepsi Fuchibol Clu's protests and gave Albino Abeijon a yellow card for diving instead. Albino Abeijon kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. After 94 played minutes, Kaplan's Aristides Avellaneda shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Domingo Abeijon came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Kaplan reached it. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Kaplan fully deserved thier win.
