Berlin's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Pirmin came free, but Laurent Frister reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 7th match minute, SC Wacker 04 e.V. Berlin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julius Bechstein to maneuver through the defense. SC Wacker 04 e.V. Berlin's Laurent Frister proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save SC Wacker 04 e.V. Berlin from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Sarmiento de Resistencia's Romeo Berdaitz slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Laurent Frister. That made the score 1-0 after 16 minutes of play. Benigno Manilan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan Langmaier in the 19th minute of the match. 22 minutes into the match, SC Wacker 04 e.V. Sarmiento de Resistencia's supporters rose to their feet, but Romeo Berdaitz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Laurent Frister breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Petro Diem took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 45th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Benigno Manilan. Sarmiento de Resistencia's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Benigno Manilan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christoph Heinrich in the 46th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Sarmiento de Resistencia's Romulo Sarmiento got a free kick in the 47th minute. 47 minutes into the match, Jan Langmaier notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Sarmiento de Resistencia's Benigno Manilan. Benigno Manilan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pedro Pirmin to strike the kick off in the second half. SC Wacker 04 e.V. Berlin were furious when Max Pentz was red carded, 53 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After a rather tough play, Sarmiento de Resistencia's Jimeno Silviano got a free kick in the 59th minute. Christoph Heinrich blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benigno Manilan having to make a save. When SC Wacker 04 e.V. Berlin's Christoph Heinrich in 64 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Benigno Manilan guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Benigno Manilan had great luck who in the 68thth minute grab hold of the ball when Christoph Heinrich from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. 70 minutes into the game, Hans Reese was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Wacker 04 e.V. Berlin's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sarmiento de Resistencia the free kick. A collision led to SC Wacker 04 e.V. Berlin getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Hans Reese hit a great ball. Benigno Manilan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julius Bechstein in the 74th minute of play. If Julius Bechstein had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julius Bechstein in the 80th minute of play forced Sarmiento de Resistencia's goalkeeper Benigno Manilan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Herwig Fricke hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Sarmiento de Resistencia's Simon Criston got a free kick in the 89th minute. SC Wacker 04 e.V. Berlin were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
