Evert Wennerquist didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when SC Wacker 04 e.V. Berlin's Jan Langmaier shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Hans Reese hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. VfL Wolfsburg's Björn Ugla couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 34th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for SC Wacker 04 e.V. Berlin. If Jens-Ove Gustafsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, SC Wacker 04 e.V. Berlin's Anton Galen got a free kick in the 39th minute. VfL Wolfsburg's Evert Wennerquist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save VfL Wolfsburg from getting a goal against them. Evert Wennerquist was out of position in the 43 minute of play, and Jan Langmaier capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jan Langmaier really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Björn Ugla to strike the kick off in the second half. Jens-Ove Gustafsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the VfL Wolfsburg defense, Jan Langmaier kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Evert Wennerquist. The VfL Wolfsburg fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Evert Wennerquist should have stopped the shot. Evert Wennerquist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan Langmaier, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Evert Wennerquist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anton Galen in the 60th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anton Galen in the 62nd minute of play forced VfL Wolfsburg's goalkeeper Evert Wennerquist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 63 minutes into the match, VfL Wolfsburg's goal looked a bit too open when Jan Langmaier came free, but Evert Wennerquist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jan Langmaier in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Evert Wennerquist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan Langmaier in the 69th minute of play forced VfL Wolfsburg's goalkeeper Evert Wennerquist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 71 minutes into the game, SC Wacker 04 e.V. Berlin's Jan Langmaier nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Evert Wennerquist made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. 74 minutes into the match, Jan Langmaier had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Evert Wennerquist. VfL Wolfsburg's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jan Langmaier was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. VfL Wolfsburg's Evert Wennerquist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan Langmaier in the 78th minute of play. Evert Wennerquist came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Wacker 04 e.V. Berlin's Anton Galen. But to his dismay, Anton Galen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. A collision led to SC Wacker 04 e.V. Berlin getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Jan Langmaier hit a great ball. Evert Wennerquist came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Wacker 04 e.V. Berlin's Jan Langmaier. But to his dismay, Jan Langmaier quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. In the 90th minute Jan Langmaier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evert Wennerquist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
