Rod Stephens could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Maxim Struelens made a huge save. Emile Montens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Corder Clubley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Brock Devine made in the 91st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Kale Mcinnis. Elderslie Magpies's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
