The crowd rose to their feet as Pieter den Hartog kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Augustijn Gilis. That made the score 1-0 in the 6 minute of play. A collision led to Lemel SV getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Dries Teunisse hit a great ball. Augustijn Gilis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriele Batistuta, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Reinhard Braamhaar kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Augustijn Gilis. That made the score 2-0 in the 17 minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, ภคгς๏tเς ฬ๏๏๔קєςкєгร Ŧς's goalkeeper Augustijn Gilis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Reinhard Braamhaar. In the 28th minute, Pieter den Hartog ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Augustijn Gilis was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. After a defensive mix-up in Lemel SV's zone, Dolf Huijgens stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Olivier Kahn came out of the goal and Dolf Huijgens tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Lemel SV's Dirk Jan Dowie got a free kick in the 35th minute. 44 minutes into the match, ภคгς๏tเς ฬ๏๏๔קєςкєгร Ŧς's goalkeeper Augustijn Gilis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pieter den Hartog. Cederic Klinkenberg's late challenge caught a Lemel SV's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cederic Klinkenberg helped the player get up and apologised. After 46 played minutes ภคгς๏tเς ฬ๏๏๔קєςкєгร Ŧς got a freekick which was hit by Cederic Klinkenberg. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pieter den Hartog to make the kick off. Augustijn Gilis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Reinhard Braamhaar went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. 55 minutes into the match, Pieter den Hartog had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Augustijn Gilis. ภคгς๏tเς ฬ๏๏๔קєςкєгร Ŧς's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pieter den Hartog was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. 60 minutes into the match, Lemel SV's goalkeeper Olivier Kahn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emile Montens. Jimmy Bosmans hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. ภคгς๏tเς ฬ๏๏๔קєςкєгร Ŧς's Augustijn Gilis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriele Batistuta in the 69th minute of play. 70 minutes into the match, ภคгς๏tเς ฬ๏๏๔קєςкєгร Ŧς's goal looked a bit too open when Reinhard Braamhaar came free, but Augustijn Gilis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 81st minute, Dirk Jan Dowie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Augustijn Gilis came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Lemel SV's Dries Teunisse. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Lemel SV had played much better football throughout.
